I am trying to capture Analysis Views through the standard Oracle Auditing universe. Auditing configuration within CMC has everything selected but when I I run a query for Analysis Views = Object Type, I only see events for Create and Modify (Event Type). I don't even see the Analysis View description through Object Name.
Any suggestions?

I am configuring SSO using windows AD, as of now I am able to login to client and BI launchpad using Windows AD authentication successfully, but silent authentication is not working when I enter url in web browser.

We are using BO BI R4.1 and Crystal Reports 2013.
We have two properties in our company and we have this following business scenario:
A crystal report has a parameter field named: property and it has 3 values: Property A, Property B and Both.
we use active directory for authentication.
some user from Property A can only select "Property A" from above property parameter field.
some user from Property B can only select "Property B" from above property parameter field.
some user (regardless property) can only select all three from above property parameter field.
Is it possible to configure the user permission in BO BI to achieve this business scenario? (i.e. user permission to control parameter field)

What is the guideline in BI 4.x for the property "Maximum Concurrent Jobs" in the Adaptive Job Server (eg in the Web Intelligence Scheduling Service)
In the XI-versions it was 5 concurrent jobs per CPU.
Is that guideline still applicable in BI 4.x ?

We have an old server running some xir2 business objects and the C:\windows\temp folder regularly grows currently nearly 18gb
This is reports still to be migrated to bo4 - most stuff on bo4.
Is it safe to delete content of c:\windows\temp and any idea would it be get so large - believe has been houskept a few time srecently.

I am unable to login into my fresh install of BO 4.0 edge edition?
I have installed the trial version of my Business objects 4.0 BI edge edition. I have been trying to get this working for last 2 weeks. I am still unsuccesfull. I have setup ODBC connection to my Microsoft SQL express server.
I keep getting error message.
"Account information not recognized: Could not reach CMS . The CMS on machine was stopped due to a critical error. (FWM 20031) "
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am not able to convert even a single report from Deski to Webi in BO XI 3.1, installed and logged in as Administrator.
What permission/authorization could be missing?

I'm testing Crystal Server 2013 SP01 trial.
I've create a test application to recreate a problem that we have on our customer.
The application is written in c# and use "SAP BusinessObject BI platform .NET SDK Redistributable 32bit 4.1 SP01", the Crystal Server is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2. The client app and the crystal server are on the same machine.
The issue:
System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommonObjectModel.ByteArrayClass.get_ByteArray()

We've been experiencing this problem with our BO environment, where every day the WebI server stops unexpectedly everyday.
Server Intelligence Agent: server xxx_BO.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer stopped unexpectedly.
We've noticed a pattern where it shuts down every afternoon at around 1:30 PM and automatically restarts. But there are also instances where it stops at random times. We're using MS SQL Server 2008 with BO 4.1.
We also had other errors like:
Server Intelligence Agent: server xxx_BO.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer is being recycled.
We tried to change to below settings on the WebI processing server, and I can say that we haven't seen the above error atleast for past couple of days.
Timeout before recycling : 3600
Maximum Documents before recycling: 250
For the first error though, I am quite clueless. I enabled tracing through "WebI Processing Server" Properties--> TraceLog Service--> Trace Level = Low.
I can see that a folder with name "wicdztrace" has been created under the Logging folder under the installation Directory. Could someone tell me where or which file would exactly tell me what the problem is? Or why the service shuts down automatically please?

Need some admin support. For some users filter bar is not enabled and if i add them to admin group then everything gets enabled otherwise filter bar, track, drill all these are getting disabled.

I have a problem by testing a relational database connection. I get the error "Unable to connect to the InfoStore:" . A test of BW Connections works fine.
I have the IDT on a local Client and Access via VPN. A direct access in the local network works.
I use the Enterprise authentification and BO 41 SP 3
How can I solve the problem?
