We have a requirement to be able to track emailed reports. The reports are published from Business Objects daily, and are delivered as PDF documents to the users' email account.
I now need to report on whether the user has read the email or not.
I can track if the publication was sent, both from a Business Objects point of view and that we have CC'd in a monitoring account on each message, so we know that the message was delivered, but now I need to go another level down and report on whether the message was read or not.
Business Objects does not seem to have the ability to add read receipts onto a message, unless somebody knows how I can do that.
Any other suggestions?
