I am developing Crystal Reports for a Crystal Reports Server. Whenever I make changes to a report, I have to re-enter the database password in the CMC each time. Tell me if there's something I'm doing wrong:
I have a working (Windows) folder for my reports. When I make changes to a report, I open the working copy of the report, make my changes, save the report in the working folder, and then immediately save it back to the corresponding Enterprise folder. The users cannot successfully run these changed reports until I go into the CMC, right-click on the report, choose "Database Configuration", and re-enter the password (which goes blank when I save the changed report). It's getting very tedious every time I make a small change to a report, to have to go into CMC and re-enter the password.
Could someone please tell me if I am going about this the wrong way? Or is there some global setting I can set?
