We just upgraded the BI backend server to 7.4 and for some reason we are now not able to create an OLAP connection in CMC using the logon groups. I have checked from the server that runs the Business Objects server that I can connect from a SAP GUI to the BI server using the logon groups and the services file looks fine. What could be missing?
This fine tutorial only demonstrates the direct setup to an application instance: Information design tool 4.0: Create an OLAP connection to SAP BW using BICS. I would however like to use logon groups to enable load balancing for incoming Business Objects requests to BICS.
