I have come across a situation. We are using Windows AD authentication with out SAP BO environment. All relevant users are placed in different groups according to internal rules. That is all fine, but now we have changed the domain name of our company so now we have the same groups with same users in new domain and old domain...
If i go under Authentication in CMC and click on Windows AD i see that AD Configuration Summary points to the right domain, but Mapped AD Member Groups still point to the old domain. I want to get rid of those groups that are in old domain and just use the groups new domain.
Now my question is, what is the correct procedure for changing domain name in SAP CMC?
Is it possible to perform this change with no downtime?
