Hi All,
I am brand new to the BOBJ's, the CMC, and BI Launch Pad, so I think I have an understanding of Groups and Users, but still a little rusty on how to set up security in a organized fashion, but the main question is how to create one Crystal Report and have the info filter down from highest user to lowest user without having to create a bunch of different reports each one going to each person. Example Executive level can see all info and the Sales Managers a little less and finally Sales Reps seeing the least info. I keep hearing I need Profiles, but for Profiles you have to have Universes, or some say you do not need Universes or Profiles. I am lost. What is the best way to add security to Groups and Users to pare down what info they each need from reports?
