Recently, our SAP BW users couldn't logon in BOBJ via BI Launchpad with the error:
Account Information Not Recognized: CSecSAPR3Binding::XRFCCnxBroker::BorrowConnection() failed. See following log entries for details. Failed while trying to log on to SAP system. The following RFC error was returned: [Group, Key, Message]: [3, "RFC_LOGON_FAILURE", "Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts"]. The entitlement system has been disabled in memory. This may be because the SAP system is unavailable or because the credentials are invalid. The entitlement system has to be re-enabled before it can be used again.
I checked, I could use the enterprise users to logon in; I tested the connection of BOBJ and BW system by my BW system ID/password and it was Ok; later I found the entitlement system account CRYSTAL was locked. Then I entered the password of crystal in BOBJ CMC Authentication/SAP Entitlement System and in the BW system, unlocked it. In BW system, the CRYSTAL account is a system user.
My question are: what will cause the SAP BW users logon to BI failed usually?
why the system user also will be got locked even if someone changed CRYSTAL password in BOBJ or BW side?
