Hi, I'm relatively new to programming Crystal and supporting a product that recently upgraded from Crystal XI to Crystal 2011. We've found that when we refresh the data on a report programmatically then export/save it prior to display in crw32.exe, we're no longer seeing the 'Enter Values' window that was automatically appearing for reports that had Parameters. When we open an .rpt file directly with crw32.exe, the 'Enter Values' window shows up if we manually refresh, but our problem is that we're trying to programmatically refresh the data on the report prior to opening with crw32.exe and when we save/export the file, we're getting a 'missing parameter values' exception. Is there a way to programmatically display the 'Enter Values' screen in Crystal 2011 using the API and let Crystal take care of the parameters or do we have to create our own UI to prompt the user for the parameter values, set the parameters using SetParameterValue, then save/export?
