Business Objects v3.1 SP5 - Upgraded Tomcat 5.5 to 7 - CPU Usage 85%

Hello,

I have recently performed an upgrade of Tomcat 5.5 to Tomcat 7.

I stopped the service, removed all the necessary registry keys, installed Tomcat 7, pointed it to the correct JRE, redeployed all webapps and started the service.

Both the Tomcat Service & SIA are now running.

First attempt to access the CMC works successfully, and a report can be accessed and executed. Following 30 seconds of usage, the pages grind to a halt and the server cpu is at 85%. BOE120TOMCAT.exe is the culprit and has full CPU usage.

The environment is as follows..

Server 2008 R2 - SP1

Intel Xeon CPU E5-2690 @ 2.90Ghz

4.00 GB Ram

64-bit OS

JDK 7_21

Tomcat 7.0.27

BO v3.1 SP5

I have noticed other threads that have not showed a fix for this issue, is there any known faults and fixes that I can identify/apply to resolve the issue?
