Environment informations:
- SAP BO 4.1 SP4 (Linux server),
- EHP7 on HANA 1.0 SP8
- HANA Studio.
I´m planning to implement a authentication mechanism between SAP BO and HANA.
I´ve already read some documents in SDN forum about how to Implement this, but some points are not clear for me and I would like to share with you.
I saw that is recommended implement SAML protocol between BO Server and HANA Studio, so far so good.
The main point is about user creation process.
I have the users created on EHP7, and I want to sync these users with SAP BO, reducing the re-work.
Into BO CMC -> Application, there is an HANA SSO option, that is used to generate the certificate to import into SAML, but couldn´t find any type of "HANA" under BO CMC->Authentication options.
I saw that SAML enable works with several authentication options, like LDAP, AD, Enterprise, SAP.
What is the fastter and better way to sync the users from EHP7 to BO Platform in this cenario?
By the end (after user sync), I hope set the option "SSO" into the connections (Olap and relational) and get the users privileges inherited while the query runs through HANA database.
