We are on BI 4.0 SP05. I had a question regarding best practices for OLAP connection authentication user accounts.
We have a SAP User set up in Authentication to connect to our SAP BW environment. This user account is authorized to access SAP role membership lists and authenticate SAP for our BW Entitlement System. (From the CMC via Authentication >> SAP >> Entitlement Systems)
In creating new OLAP connetions to BW cubes and/or queries though, is it ok to use this same service account for OLAP connection authentication? I would have the Authentication as 'Pre-defined' and then input the service account credentials accordingly. I was just curious from a best practice perspective in terms of OLAP connection authentications.
