I am in process of restoring existing CMS/Audit DB standalone QA environment to new installation of BOBJ/ Web Server. I am planning to duplicate CMS DB and point to the new installation. This is to avoid messing up running environment, and also because existing environment will have host name entries of old system in many places this could cause issue if is not deleted from all the locations. (Cleaner approach)
Here are Items I have in list to restore (CMS DB/ Audit DB/ Filestore/ WAR Files (BI LaunchPad propeties & CMC properties files)/ CCM Backup which contains server configuration files)
Note: Standalone (non-clustered QA environment)
Any advice recommendation on this approach will be helpful.
