openDocument.jsp and Crystal Report Viewer optimization

Dear All,

We have a Crystal Report that is frequently accessed via an openDoc link. The SQL query of the report takes around 3-4 seconds at the database to run. But the openDoc link itself takes 12-18 seconds to run and display the report.

The only required options that must be available in the Viewer are export button & standard navigation pane (i.e. pages and group navigation) etc.

Is there any way to customize openDocument page or CrystalReportViewer such as to make them load faster?

Environment : BI4.0 SP9 Patch3
