HEC: BO BI and DS on SAP ASE

Hi all,

we are going to install BO BI and DS on SAP ASE for a HEC customer.

TIpical SAP ASE installation on HEC is using sapinst. It install ASE with a 16KB page.

We have just seen on BO BI documentation that the recommended ASE page should be 8KB for BI (Extra requirements for
Sybase ASE http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sbo41/en/smp/sbo41sp3_bip_inst_unix_en.pdf)

Is there anyone that can help us to understand whether we can maintain 16KB or change it to 8KB? Is the same requirement needed for DS?
