Java compatibility in BO 3.1 and BO 4.1

Hi All,

I have certain requirements in which I have to work on BO 3.1 (SP6) and also BO 4.1(SP4). Hence I have installed both the Clients in the same machine.

Also, I have Java 7 Update 25 in my machine.

When I want to create a WEBI report from Infoview/BI Launchpad, I get Java Out of Date Screen for both 3.1 and 4.1 in Firefox browser. And in IE10 it gives Java virtual machine error.

Could you please let me know which Java Version and Update to use in order to work in both the BO Versions in the same machine.

Note; As I got to know, Java 8 is not supported by BO3.1. Hence I cannot install Java8 for the sole purpose of BO 4.1.
