Auditing Thread Last Polling Cycle Time Duration Does Not Match Last Update Time

Hi All,

I have an issue with the "Auditing Thread Last Polling Cycle Duration" metric and the time interval observed in the metric "Auditing Database Last Updated On" on the Central Management Server.

The cycel time shows as 180 seconds and the thread utilisation is at 2%. The auditing seems to be picked up ok and everything is green. However, when I look at the auditing database last updated on metric for the same server, it shows that it is being updated every minute.

We have restarted the SIA, but this is still occurring. While there doesn't seem to be any impact with this issue, I am curious as to why this might happen.

We are running 4.0 SP5 and the auditing database is SQL server 2008.

Any insight into this would be gratefully received.
