Hi,
I wanted to know if it exists a tool to change the connection of a lot of report (~2000).
We have moved from file report to crystal server and now we want to update each report from using their own configured connection to the jdbc configured connection of the crystal server (with the IDT tool).
Manually, the operation is easy :
1) Open the report in Crystal Report for Enterprise 4
2) Go to the "change datasource connection wizard"
3) Update each table/view with the corresponding table/view in the new connection
4) Save the report
But even if the procedure is easy, for ~2000 reports it's a very long and repetitve procedure.
I've seen that maybe the "Schedule Manage" war app or the "Cross-Application Mass Maintenance" could maybe do that (in some forum and in the doc help) but it's seems that i'm unable to find a download link and an installation guide for those two apps.
Could somebody confirm that's the way to do that kind of change.
Where could i find download links and resource guides for those apps ?
Is there really an app to do that ?
Some people talk about the sdk way, is it an alternative ?
