Hello Experts,
I am wondering if any of you have run into issues similar to those we are experiencing with Promotion Management. We are running both our DEV and PROD environments on BOBJ 4.1 SP 3 and using Promotion Management to move crystal reports from one environment to the next, generally one at a time. The issues we are seeing / have seen are listed below
- A single report can take several hours to promote
- A single report will never move from status "running" (we have waited in some cases > 24 hours)
- A promotion job will continue to say it is running, but the report in the PROD environment will have been updated and can be run successfully
For the last two points above we have found the only solution is to delete the running job. If any of you have seen these issues have you found any viable solutions / workarounds. As always your help and direction is appreciated.
