Yellow hint screen interfering with web navigation in CMC history tab, plus other issues

I have a lot of trouble navigating the web interface CMC for Crystal Server, specifically in the history section.  Originally, i had issues with the screen refreshing every 10 seconds when there was a job that was running, and so i never had a chance to navigate to other rows in the history table.  This fortunately was solved by fixing the tomcat settings (see History page is constantly refreshing in BI 4.0 | SAP BO Training Online) for more info.

But now its also hard because the big yellow hint screen keeps popping up as i hover over each history row, blocking access to the information behind the screen, and keeping me from any action.  I'm talking about the screen that gives more information about the particular instance, like when it was run, parameters, title etc.  If the history line is towards the bottom, the hint screen blocks access, if i try to move off of it, it pops up again when i hit the row behind it.  Just very frustrating since i never use it, and even if i did, it blinks on and off depending on where the mouse is.

Any way to turn this hinting off?

While i'm at it, another irritant is how i need to expand the title column to see the full title of a job, and am sitting on a particular instance, then when the system refreshes, it pushes the column back to its original size as well as puts me back on the top of the list.  this is just one more area where my productivity goes to hell because im chasing down history instances (troubleshooting both scheduled and completed jobs), and i keep getting bounced around.

For me the holy grail would be a non-web user interface to the Crystal Server?  It drives me nuts to have to use a web interface when I'm either already  attached to the Crystal server, or am located within the same domain.  Theres so many issues that i could solve with a larger table style access,  no refreshing unless i choose, and quick and easy navigation without the big overhead of web browser page building and rendering.

thanks for any assitance or commiseration
