I'm working in a BusinessObjects 4.0 SP 05 Patch 9 environment. My CMC is on a Windows 2008 R2 server.
I'm developing universes in the Information Design Tool; these universes use connections I've set up to my RD1 (i.e., Dev) SAP environment.
When I'm ready to migrate a universe to my RI1 (i.e., Integ) and RP1 (i.e., Production) environments, what do I need to do to ensure that the universe can connect to SAP in those other environments? Must I create a connection to each SAP environment and (somehow) configure the migrating universe to use the connection appropriate for the particular environment?
(I came across a similar thread on this forum but it was for connecting to SAP BW.)
