Publications parameter updating in BO CMC

Hi All,

i am working with CMC application, where i have created a new publication with documents Crystal report and added the users. i have to update one parameter (Period name) by opening the publication and updating the parameter in personalize tab before  i run for new parameter(like period change)...

Is there any other method to update a parameter without opening the Publication? like with the help of insert statement in Query Builder?

please let me know if there is an way to do this.
