Need your inputs/best practice approach to move the WEBI Reports which is connected to BW backend in the same and different landscape.
we have the below type of systems
Landscape A
System 1: DEV BO 4.0 connected with DEV BW
System 2: QA BO 4.0 connected with QA BW
Landscape B
System 3: TST BO 4.0 connected with TST BW System
System 4: PRD BO 4.0 connected with PRD BW System
Note: we are using Pre-defined user id and password option in OLAP connection
Q1: Moving the WEBI reports from system 1 to system 2 within the same Landscape
a)we need to move the WEBI reports without any BW dependency connection or WEBI Reports with BW connection?
b) what will happen in both scenario?
c) Is the Connection override option for OLAP connection is the right choice here?
Q2: Moving the WEBI reports from system 1 to system 2 within the different Landscape
a) Are we have only the BIAR option to move the WEBI Reports and BW connection between different landscape
b) how we can change the BW connections for WEBI reports after moving from source to destination,
for my scenario, moving the reports from system2 to system3(both are in different landscape)
c) Required to update manually in the CMC or how OLAP connection will update for all the moved reports
Need your inputs and guidance for this query, it will great help for us.
