Mass Update of Database Login for Recurances

I know we can mass update the database login credentials for the Crystal Reports in CMC, however, I have been told that this will NOT apply to any recurrences we have scheduled.   We will be forced to delete and then reschedule the recurrences manually.   Considering we have over 2,000 reports this does not seem right to me.

Is there a way we are not aware of to update the database login credentials for the scheduled recurrences in BO 3.1?  In BO 4.1?--we are in the middle of upgrading to 4.1
