Very annoying when the BI platform session timeout expires, the message box is displayed and Internet Explorer 10 freezes and finally crashes after some time, often having to kill the process from task manager. Users are very annoyed.

Internet Explorer 10 - this is the company standard browser and version deployed to thousands of desktops.
We have increased the timeout to 15 minutes. Turning off timeouts is not an option due to licensing.
Any useful advice is greatly appreciated!
