hello everyone,
we have webi reports based on BW BICS connection, and those report fails everyday with error: "A protocol message was rejected because it was
too big(more than 100663296 bytes)"
The maximum result set size of the report is 6114774, so we set BICSResultChunkSize to 120000 but still we have same problem.
very strange thing is even we are getting same error in one of the report which retrieve just 721227 records.
when we ran the same query in BEx Analyser, then it works perfectly without have any problem, within 2 minutes query will execute
Details of our System:
BI4.1 SP2 Patch 01, we have also checked in BO4.1 SP05 Patch 3 system also.
. Server Operating System : Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1
. Client Operating System : Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1
. CMS database and middleware : ORACLE 11.2.x
. Data source database and middleware : SAP BW 7.01 and 7.30
I checked the DSL Bridge service trace, and I could see RESPONSE_PB_BYTES is "124351951", based on this do need to increase the BICSResultChunkSize?
Anybody have faced this problem, have any suggestion?
