SAP BO 4.1 SSO using the SAML and Shibboleth

Hi,

We've requirement to configure the SSO for the SAP BO 4.1 SP04 Patch 5 system using the SAML and Shibboleth.

We've SAP BO Enterprise users and REMOTE_USER with the same name. We need to bypass the BI launchpad login screen while users login using the Remote_User id.

I've reviewed the BO admin guide on the "Trusted Authentication for SAML single sign-on" and few other forum topics. But it gives me very less clarity on fixing this. Could anyone, please help me with step by step process.

Environment : SAP BO 4.1 SP04 Patch 5

Web Application Server : Tomcat 7
