Checklist for Analysis, Audit OR Due diligence Phase of 4.0 Upgrade?

Hi All,

We are in the process of upgrading to 4.0 or 4.1 in coming month. Currently client is using XIR2 + BO 3.1 on large scale.

I will be working on analyzing the existing environments and expected to share a Audit Report (lengthy document) of my analysis, which will help them in planning, procuring the relative HW, Licenses & etc for 4.0 upgrade.

Need help here on following points:

1. What all things I should consider & record from BO architecture & environment side.
2. Any specific area I need to cover for e.g. No.# of Users, Folders, Reports & Schedules etc?
3. Specific checklist I need to follow while doing this?
