We recently upgraded to BI 4.0 SP4 a year ago. We are implementing BW on HANA and would like to upgrade our system to BI 4.1.
We have had issues with the upgrading systems in past so we would like to move forward with Side-by-Side install of BI 4.1 with BI 4.0 SP4.
Our System Configuration Currently:
BI 4.0 SP4 Cluster
Prd01
Memory 64GB
Intel Xenon CPU (2 Processors)
Prd02
Memory 64GB
Intel Xenon CPU (2 Processors)
As per the BI 4.1 Upgrade guide, Side-by-Side install is possible but I would like to know if anyone has tried the side-by-side install? How was the overall experience? Did the system have any performance issue or known issue that you can share?
I will appreciate any feedback or recommendations in this matter.
