Setting Limit for Instances in Excel format via CMC

Hi All,

I am trying to set limit for instances on folder via CMC in BOXIR3.1

I tried to set limit for all  3 options available but it does not work. (below are 3 options I tried to set limit)

• Delete excess instances when there are more than N instances of an object
• Delete excess instances for the following users/groups
• Delete instances after N days for the following users/groups

I have more than 100 reports each with about 150+ instances.

but after setting the limits on folder for instances the instances does not get deleted!!

My question is :

All instances are in Excel format, is there any issue with setting limit for instance not in WebI format?

Can you suggest any other way to do so?
