Hello All,
I just installed Business Objects 4.0 SP6 on Windows Server 2008 Standard. I also have installed SQL Server 2008 and Client Tools on the same machine. I am trying to connect to this server via client tools from a different computer and I am not able to do so. I have opened the firewall and ports from 6400 to 6999. I use Logmein VPN to get connected to the same network and nothing is working. I can only access CMC and BI launchpad from web. I opened 8080 port and thats the only success i had so far.
I really need help with this. Can someone please let me know what i need to do step by step to access my server using clinet tools. I need my Information Design Tool to be connect.
I looked all over the net but couldnt figure out anything.
