I have a Crystal Report (built in the CR 2013 designer) that has a parameter set as an Optional Prompt. When Viewing the report through the BI Launchpad the users cannot execute the report without putting a value in for that parameter, even though it is set as an Optional Prompt. The report can be Scheduled in the Launchpad and will run successfully with the parameter left empty but when viewed on demand if the user leaves the parameter empty in the prompts window then clicking Execute does not run the report it just brings the user back to the prompts window. There is no message displayed to indicate why it does not run.
We are running BI Platform 4.1.
Has anyone else seen this?
