I am on a project that is Migrating Report from One server to Another. We are using CRXI and SQL Server 2008 R2. The first round of report that are adhoc report Migrated just fine. Just change the ODBC connection to point to the new server and reports ran fine. The 2nd round of reports are a little more tricky the are managed using Business Object (CMC). When I change the report ODBC and try to save I get an error that reads as follow.
Fail To Read data form report file
Reason Failed to read parameter object.
Basically these are the steps that I taking.
1. Open report and do a save as to a new directory.
2. change the ODBC connetion to point to new server.
But when I try to save I get error.
Does anyone know if there is documentation for best practice on this subject.
