Hi guys,
I have a SAP BI Platform system, version SAP BI BO 4.0 SP6. In IDT, when I try to connect to a MySQL 5.1 database running on Windows (Oracle -> MYSQL 5 -> JDBC Drivers), I got the error:
Test failed
com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
I downloaded the jar file mysql-connector-java-5.1.29-bin.jar and copied it on the local machine under C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc\drivers\mysql (created the folder mysql).
Now I try to connect again, the above error is gone but now I get the foll. error:
Communications link failure
The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.
Anybody coming across this error? Any idea how to resolve this?
